Bengaluru: Parvathamma Rajkumar passes away at 78

Bengaluru, May 31: Kannada film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar, passed away on Wednesday, May 31 at M S Ramaiah Hospital here.

She was 78. She breathed her last due to multi-organ complications.

Wife of veteran actor late Dr Rajkumar, she is survived by three sons Shivaraj Kumar, Puneeth and Raghavendra and two daughters.

Parvathamma married Dr Rajkumar when she was 13. 

Several people including Kannada film personalities and political leaders have condoled her death.

Police have made special security arrangements following the death in and around city.

    RIP Madam...

    Condolences to the bereaved family. I was a strong fan of Dr Rajkumar. The couple were strong personalities in the Sandalwood industry.

    With the death of Mrs Parvathamma, the Sandalwood Film Industry has lost a great personality.

    She has produced about 80 films and launched her 3 sons as film stars
