Allman to be buried close to brother, former bandmate


Atlanta, May 31 (IANS): The Allman Brothers Band star Gregg Allman, who died last week, will be buried on Saturday close to his brother Duane and fellow band mate Berry Oakley.

The burial at Macon's Rose Hill Cemetery will be attended by family and friends, reports variety.com.

Allman died on May 27 due to complications of liver cancer. His longtime manager Michael Lehman said Allman's liver cancer resurfaced around five years ago although the singer didn't publicise the news. He was 69.
