Director Vikram plays antagonist in 'Kodiveeran'


Chennai, June 5 (IANS): Filmmaker M. Sasikumar on Monday said director Vikram Sukumaran plays the antagonist in his upcoming Tamil film "Kodiveeran".

"'Kodiveeran'. Introducing Vikram Sukumaran as the antagonist," Sasikumar tweeted.

Vikram is known for directing the critically-acclaimed 2013 Tamil thriller "Madha Yaanai Kootama".

The film is being directed by Muthiah, known for his rural-centric films such as "Komban" and "Marudhu".

Poorna, Mahima Nambiar and Sanusha play the leading ladies.

The makers are currently shooting in Sivagangai, Tamil Nadu.

The film marks the reunion of Muthiah and Sasikumar after "Kutti Puli".
