Palace-like set worth over Rs 2 crore for 'Jai Lava Kusa'


Hyderabad, Jun 8 (IANS): The makers of Junior NTR starrer Telugu action-drama "Jai Lava Kusa" have built a massive palace-like set worth over Rs 2 crore to shoot a vital portion of the second half of the film, a source said.

"The set has been erected in Ramoji Film City. It's a palace-like structure with lavish interiors. Key portion of the second half will be shot in this set, which is worth over Rs 2 crore," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

The film features Junior NTR in a triple role.

For one of his roles, he will be seen wearing prosthetic and his look is being handled by Hollywood make-up artist Vance Hartwell, popular for his work in films such as "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "Shutter Island".

Being directed by Bobby, the film is being produced by Jr NTR's brother Kalyanram under the banner NTR Arts.

Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas are playing the leading ladies.
