Mangalore, Apr 15: Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza of Mangalore ordained seven deacons to serve Mangalore diocese on Tuesday April 15 evening. The ordination ceremony was held at Our Lady of Rosario Cathedral here in the presence of near and dear ones of the newly-ordained and hundreds of devotees.

Seven deacons who were ordained priests on Tuesday are: Br Ajith Menezes, son of Victor and Celine Menezes from Modankap, Br Jesudas D'Costa, son of Carmine and the late Joseph Saldanha of Beltangady, Br Rithesh Rodrigues, son of Louis and Alice Rodrigues of Bejai, Br Naveen Prakash Pinto, son of Vincent and Cecilia Pinto of Shamboor, Br Joseph Uday Fernandes, son of Hilda and the late Philiph Fernandes,  Br Alfred Rayan D'Souza, son of Joseph and Magdalene D'Souza and Br Melwyn Noronha, son of Leena Noronha and the later Peter Noronha.





















Mangalore diocese Vicar General Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, Jeppu Seminary rector Fr Victor Machado and several other diocesan priests, nuns and religious brothers and sisters were present on the occasion.
