Mangaluru, Jun 22: Konaje police rescued 12 cattle from a farm at Montepadavu before they could be taken to a slaughterhouse on Thursday, June 22.
Police went to a farm at Montepadavu after they received information from a Hindu organization that some cows are being collected there to be taken to a slaughterhouse. 3 calves and 9 cows were found at the farm and the police rescued
them.



No one was found at the farm as the police believe that the culprits could have run away after seeing them.
The cattle were sent to a Goshala in Pajir.
Police are investigating the case.
