Abu Dhabi: Jet Airways to Extend Services to Mumbai, Delhi from Apr 23

Abu Dhabi, Apr 16: Effective April 23, 2008, Jet Airways will extend its services from Abu Dhabi to Delhi and Abu Dhabi to Mumbai.

The daily non-stop flights will depart from Mumbai at 2135 hours and arrive at Abu Dhabi at 2325 hours, leaving Abu Dhabi at 0015 hours to arrive at Mumbai at 0450 hours. Another aircraft will depart from Delhi at 2100 hrs and arrive  at Abu Dhabi at 2335 hrs, leaving Abu Dhabi at 0025 hours to arrive at Delhi at 0520 hours, daily.   

The main features of Jet Airways Abu Dhabi operations will be the daily non-stop flights to each destination, combined with world-class service on-the-ground and in-the-air, which customers have now got accustomed to. Jet Airways will introduce its world-class service on the Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a configuration of 20 seats in Premiere and 124 seats in Economy, offering the highest quality of comfort, courtesy, reliability and standards of in-flight as well as ground operations.

The fare structure will be extremely competitive and will have a range of fares available for sale based on the flight profile in terms of seats available at the time of buying the ticket. In the introductory stage, one-way economy prices start at AED 450 to Mumbai and AED 500 to Delhi. Most of the popular domestic destinations can be added on from Mumbai at only AED 250 extra. Return economy fares start at AED 1,000 to Mumbai and AED 1,100 for Delhi. Fares in Premiere, the Jet Airways business class, start at AED 1,700 for one-way and AED 2,500 for a return ticket to Mumbai. Premiere fares for Delhi are AED 1750 one-way and AED 2550 return. All fares are exclusive of taxes.

Flights from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai and Delhi will arrive early morning to connect to the vast domestic network of 45 destinations within India.

With the commencement of Abu Dhabi operations, Jet Airways customers from this region will also have the Jet Airways advantage to connect to the world, via India, providing connections from the Gulf to all world-wide destinations in the Far-East, Europe, USA and Canada and the Indian sub-continent, where Jet Airways operates to, via Mumbai and Delhi.
 
Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 81 aircraft, which includes 10 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 8 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 54 classic and next generation Boeing 737-400/700/800/900 aircraft and 9 modern ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft. With an average fleet age of 4.20 years, the airline has one of the youngest aircraft fleet in the world. Jet Airways operates over 380 flights daily and has flown over 80 million passengers since inception in May 1993.
