Manoj Paramahamsa replaces Santhana Krishnan in 'Dhruva...'

Chennai, Jun 29 (IANS): Cinematographer-producer Manoj Paramahamsa has replaced Santhana Krishnan following the latter's exit from Vikram-starrer upcoming Tamil spy thriller "Dhruva Natchathiram".

Manoj is the third cinematographer to join the project, helmed by Gautham Menon.

The film went on the floors earlier this year with cinematographer Jomon T. John, who walked out after being signed on for Rohit Shetty's "Golmaal Again".

Santhana Krishnan, son of well-known lensman Ravi K. Chandran, was brought as a replacement for Jomon.

"The exact reason for Santhana's exit from the project is yet unknown. He has been replaced by Manoj Paramahamsa, who has joined the latest schedule in Slovenia, Europe. Since Gautham has already worked with Manoj, he chose him over others," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

The film, which also stars Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh, features Vikram in the role of a spy.

Being made on a lavish budget, the project marks the first time collaboration of Gautham and Vikram.

The film, slated for release later this year, has music by Harris Jayaraj.
