New Delhi, Jul 5 (IANS): Actress Manini Chadha, who featured in director Sujoy Ghoshs "Kahaani 2", says she has been in talks for a short film with him.
"I did meet Sujoy for a project, and I would obviously love to work with him again, but we're still in talks and nothing has been finalised yet," Manini, who played Arjun Rampal's wife in "Kahaani 2", said in a statement.
According to a source aware of the development, the short film is in the science fiction genre and will have a very different and fresh story to it.
NCC educated me about life: Anupam Kher
Veteran actor Anupam Kher says the National Cadet Corps (NCC) disciplined him and educated him about life.
He was in Delhi to attend the 50th Central Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting.
On Tuesday, the actor posted photographs of himself with Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba, Chief of the Army Staff General Bipin Rawat and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa.
"Honoured to be with our heroes. The coolest and the best pic of my life. Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, Admiral Sunil Lanba and General Bipin Rawat. NCC disciplined me. Made me feel closer to my country and educated me about life. Thank you officers for inviting me to 50th CAC on NCC," Anupam tweeted.
"Paramvir Chakra heroes of India. Brave, dedicated and committed to country. Thank you for everything that you do and have done for us," he added.
Retweeting Anupam's photograph with the three chiefs, his wife and actress Kirron Kher posted: "What a proud moment for me as an Army child to see. Anupam Kher with the Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force."
Ajaz Khan out to do some good
Actor-producer Ajaz Khan is planning to start a Foundation through which he can help the unfortunate in getting them medication for illnesses.
"I am glad my God has chosen me for this. There are plenty of good people who are willing to help these needy but they don't know how and where. I will try reaching out to as many and help them," Ajaz, who has done Umrah -- Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca -- said in a statement.
He has helped the wife of a rickshaw puller who suffered from cancer, and he is also helping a 12-year-old child named Tahir for his heart transplant.
