Mangaluru, Jul 13: The Team Astro’ comprising students from Third Year Mechanical Engineering at St Joseph Engineering College – Vamanjoor, has secured first place in Karnataka and 12th place in India in the Aero Design Challenge 2017 held in Chennai recently.
52 teams had participated in regular class with electric motor from all over the country.
The Aero Design Competition was organized by SAEINDIA- Southern Section and Centre for Aerospace Research at MIT Campus of Anna University, Chennai.
The team was represented by Akash Rai, Sushan Kumar, Dheeraj Poojary, Akshay Veigas, Srijesh B Shetty, Karthik, and Jevish Fernandes.
