Mangaluru, Jul 14: The short movie ‘My Dad My Mom’ directed, produced and written by Fr Nelson D'Almeida, professor, St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu in city, is all set to be released on October 3 at Lourdes Central School, Bejai by Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangaluru.

The impressive role played by real parents, Melwyn and Neetha and their little daughter Erica is the unique feature of the movie. The voices of twin sisters, Baby Ruth Aroza and Baby Runa Aroza, Bendur has added colour to the movie.

This movie is specially made for children. It is entirely built on family values. The real facts of family life are depicted in this movie. This movie sheds light on the life of children to be respectful and helpful towards their parents.

“Dad and mom are special and precious treasures to their children”- is the message carried in this movie.

Love of parents planting from the very beginning with children is essential which is the right way of grooming and nurturing them. Hearty Congratulations to Fr. Nelson Prakash D'Almeida, Dean of Philosophy at St. Joseph's Seminary and the Parish Priest of Jeppu, Mangalore. Your time, efforts are appreciated despite your spiritual and academic commitments. May there be many more "MDMM" titled or of similar nature short films come out to further add value with your preserved talents.
With best wishes from our entire Team and families,

My father and mother, who gave birth to me according to God's plan of creation, come next to God in my life. God is the creator and parents are the care takers. Thus family is the basic unit of society. Family is the foundation for all. Therefore each family should be united with the bond of love for one another.
In the modern era family bond is dissolving and it is the main tragedy of human life. There is no love between parents and children. If blood & blood can not love and live with a bond then what else could be bonded??? It is the high time that each one take care of one's family with strong bond of love. When each family prospers whole society atomatically becomes healthy. But are we ready and willing to do this simple but important aspect of each one's life???
People want to protect religion, nation, group, etc & etc. Why can't all protect one's family of blood first and then think of other things??? Atomatically there will be wonders if all family members take care of one another of their family members. But will all at least start taking care of their own family??? Million dollar question???? Thank you and God bless each and every one of us.
