Bahrain: Mogaveers Bahrain Enjoy Thrilling Family Day Out

Bahrain, May 5:
The Mogaveers Bahrain, organized their annual family day out on Thursday, May 1 at one of the outdoor private swimming pools at Nabih Saleh island in Bahrain. More than 100 members including guests had a fun-filled day out enjoying themselves by the poolside.

Children enjoyed water-skating and ‘splash’ separately in a special swimming pool for kids. The elders spent time swimming in the larger pool all the day long. A variety of fun games like like ring and ball games, bingo jackpot, pick-n-act and swimming race and others were arranged for the children as well as for the elders. Special home-made food was served as lunch.

DJ Lucio along with his daughter Olivera was very busy spinning the discs with scintillating numbers which kept the dancers gyrating.

Kannada Sangha, Bahrain, president Austin Santosh, businessman Prabhaker Poojary from India and Daijiworld correspondent Ronald D’Souza were the special guests.

The programme began with the association president Girish Iddya welcoming the gathering. The chief co-ordinator of this event was the entertainment secretary Padmanabh Kanchan along with organising secretary Jagannath Kadekar. Girish Iddya, Leeladhar Kanchan, Pradeep Mulki and Chandrashekar Shriyan assisted in making the event successful.

The programme was supported by Vittal Shetty of Chef’s Corner, Nissar Ahmed of Gulf-Russian Restaurant and Ramesh Ramachandran of Winnerz Academy. The vote of thanks was proposed by Jagannath Kadekar.
