Ray J in legal battle with 'Celebrity Big Brother' bosses

Los Angeles, Aug 12 (IANS): Singer Ray J has reportedly got involved in a legal battle with the makers of the "Celebrity Big Brother" TV show to claim his $250,000 pay cheque.

Ray J had to leave the house to get emergency dental work in January and was not paid for his eight-day stint on the show, reports dailymail.co.uk.

The 36-year-old was not allowed into the house after the treatment. He won't rest until he gets the payment, his manager said.

Ray J's sudden departure and the fact that the makers wouldn't let him back in the house means he reportedly didn't get his pay cheque.

"We are in a continued legal battle with them over the remaining payments that are owed to him," Ray J's representative David Weintraub told The Sun newspaper.

"They owe him 250 thousand US dollars. Our lawyers and their lawyers are trying to work out a settlement agreement. Without settling the case and an apology from the producers, he doesn't want anything else to do with the show," Weintraub added.
