Mangalore: Haunting Similarities of Deaths of Twin Gems Suchita and Krithi

Mangalore, May 15: We alll know that death comes like a stranger. It is an inevitable guest which can neither be avoided nor escaped from. But sometimes it leaves behind several questions that haunt the people deprived of their loved ones.

Accidents occur, and they are called 'accidents' because no one can predict their occurence. But in reality, they are nothing but a call from God. People leave for heavenly abode without a reason, sending their near and dear ones in to a state of shock, causing irreparable loss, and more than anything else, giving rise to mysterious questions.

That is what the sudden and shocking death of Suchita Moras has done.

When Suchita Moras passed away without a clue, people from every nook and corner of the world who knew her and even those who did not know her were shocked to say the least. 'What happened to Suchita? How could she die of cardiac arrest at such young age?' was the common question that bombarded the minds of people.  But no living soul has answer to that.

Krithi and Suchita

Going by the condolence messages received by Daijiworld.com ever since the news of her death was flashed at 7am IST on Tuesday May 13, one must have realized how popular she was. But among the messages was one interesting, shocking and at the same time thought-provoking message by Mangalore's Shubha Rodrigues, one of Daijiworld's regular, alert readers .

Call it a coincident or a miracle, but the interesting message was just too astonishing, and it is only fair that we share it with our readers.

It may be recalled that back in the year 2005, the Mangalorean community had shed tears of sorrow for 23-year-ol Krithi Moras who had passed away, incidently, on May 13!

It is the shocking similarity between Suchita and Krithi that Shubha Rodrigues shed light on.

Consider this - Both Suchita and Krithi became Moras after marriage. Both died abroad suddenly at a young age, leaving everyone in a state of shock.

The names of their husbands begin with A - while Anoop is Suchita's widower, Ashok had married Krithi.

And if that is not enough, both are the only daughters of coffee planters.

Both have been buried in Bendore parish cemetry, side-by-side.

Here's another interesting fact - while Suchita hailed from Urwa parish, her husband is from Bendore parish. Krithi was from Bendore parish and was given in marriage to Urwa parish!

And to top it all, Daijiworld has learnt that Suchita and Krithi were not only neighbours, but also second cousins!

When Daijiworld contacted Krithi's family, even they were not aware many facts and were surprised to note the similarities.

The above facts may be just coincidents and one need not go to the levels of exaggeration. However, the facts leave us with one question that only God could answer - why did two beautiful flowers of the same garden wilt away even before blooming fully? But one thing is sure - the lovely flowers spread their everlasting fragrance during their short lives, a fragrance that will never diminish their memories.
