'Matharo Chorbela' Troupe and other Artistes Arrive to Perform in Kuwait

Kuwait, May 21: Francis Fernandes Cascia's popular play 'Matharo Chorbela' troupe (Betty Naaz, Edwin Banz, Flora D'Souza, Gregory sequeira, Joseph Silva, Julie Vas, Jyothi D'Souza, Peter Pais and Shanthi Barboza ) along with Konkani's singing legend Henry D'Souza of 'Katrina' fame, Anitha Samson and Esther Noronha from Mangalore, comedians Neville Veigas (Nellu Permannur), Canute Veigas, Dimple Pinto arrived in Kuwait to entertain the Konkani audience.

At evening flight Francis Fernandes Cascia and Daijiworld Editor-in-Chief Walter D'Souza Nandalike arrived to complete the combination.  Walter will be compering the show.

The Mangalorean community in Kuwait is in for a gala entertainment treat on Friday May 23 organized by Kuwait Konkans at Masrah Hawally Auditorium, Kuwait.
 
The fun-filled event will begin with musical and dance performances by the visiting artistes.

Konkani's singing legend Henry D'Souza of 'Katrina' fame, along with Anitha Samson and Esther Noronha from Mangalore and Kuwait's very own Roney D'Cunha will entertain the audience with Konkani, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam numbers.

Esther will perform spectacular Bharatanatyam dance on the occasion.

As a special attraction, Francis Fernandes Cascia's popular play 'Matharo Chorbela' will be staged with the artistes from Mumbai. The lead role will be played by Francis Cascia himself.

Music maestro Adrian Gomes will direct the music for the entire musical show.

A comedians' team led by Nellu Permannur is specially flown from Mangalore to entertain the audience with their rib-tickling comedy.

'Dance Illusions,'  a  vibrant dance group will be performing to the tunes of the latest numbers to mesmerize the audience. It will be an evening of complete entertainment  put forth with the motto of raising funds to assist a school building fund and other charitable organizations.
