Dubai: Shashwik Shetty to train under Glen McGrath at MRF Pace Foundation

Dubai, Aug 29: Making Kannadigas proud, 17-year-old Shashwik Divakar Shetty has qualified to train at MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai.

The talent hunt competition for under-17 cricket players was held by Radio Mango in collaboration with Masala Bay Restaurant. He is the only one from UAE who has qualified to train in Chennai for week. Shashwik will be trained by former Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath.

Shashwik is a student of The Indian High School, Dubai. He has represented the under-16 and under-19 teams of the school. He has also captained the under-19 team and attended the UAE under-19 cricket camp.
