Landslide delays Bengaluru-Mangaluru train by 9 hours

Mangaluru, Aug 30: A landslide on the Sakleshpur-Kukke Subramanya line in the ghat section delayed the Bengaluru-Mangaluru Kudla Express by nine hours on Tuesday, August 29.

Passengers of the train were held up and faced lot of inconvenience during this time as the train remained motionless near Shiribagilu for more than nine hours.

The landslide took place in the forest on the 85th km on the railway track on Tuesday afternoon.

Shiribagilu is situated between Sakleshpur in Hassan district and Subramanya in Dakshina Kannada district.
