Bahrain, May 24: All the roads in Bahrain led to the “Bishop Tirinanzi Auditorium” on Thursday May 22 for the Konkani lovers at 7.30 pm to enjoy one of the lively & magnanimous shows of the year. “Konkani Kutam Cultural Show” organized by Karnataka Social Club fascinated the crowd with delightful blend of Konkani hit songs and side-splitting comedy.

'Konkan Kalashree' Claud D’Souza captured the hearts of the audience with mellifluous voice and spectacular performance.  He was ably supported by immensely gifted Richard Pais, Rony Fernandes, Vijesh, Muriel Gomes, Meena D’Souza, Cynthia D’Souza and Adlin Alva.

Jerry Rasquinha, a multi-talented artist articulated the rib-tickling comedy to keep the audience glued to their seats.  Gifted artists Stany D’Souza, Alwyn Peries, Prakash D’Costa, Sujay Pinto, George Menezes, Nelson Menezes and Nirmala Fernandes exhibited their talents with conviction and commitment.

Popular compere Ronald Olivera compered the entire programme in his own inimitable style.

Balakrishna Shetty, the Indian ambassador to Bahrain chief guest on the occasion.  The president of Karnataka Social Club Richard Moras and the working committee members of Konkani Kutam were present on the dais.

'Harmonics' provided the music. Priya Mascarenhas choreographed the dances supported by Nishel Gomes.
