Bengaluru: Is ‘Challenging Star’ Darshan planning to join Congress soon?

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Sep 1: Speculation that ‘Challenging Star’ Darshan may join Congress and a preliminary talk has already been held with the Congress High Command on getting him to join the party is abuzz in the Sandalwood grapevine.

If rumours are to be believed, then star turned politician Ambareesh and KPCC president Dr Parameshwar are in the forefront in enticing the glamorous star to join the party. It is said that there are possibilities that Darshan will content against the current MP, State BJP Yuva Morcha president Pratap Simha from Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President G Parameshwara said that the star joining Congress was “news” to him. Denying the rumour, he said there are no discussions held in roping in Darshan. Even rumours that Congress has approached Puneeth Rajkumar or Shiva Rajkumar as star campaigners are not true, he added.

Darshan’s mother Meena Thoogudeepa Srinivas who is a KPCC secretary denied knowledge on Darshan joining the party. “I don’t know about Darshan joining the party. It is his personal choice. I will discuss the matter with him,” she told reporters.

Its an open secret as to why these film stars want to join politics ..its surely not to serve people, but to protect their money earned through dubious means and evading tax.
They are no less evil than the recent Ram rahims or godmen or the political elite of any country. They all work hand in glove.

These so called politicians like chemeleooooooooons. Changing colours now and then. So these Film stars better to serve Film Industry only. They are not suitable to enter into politics. The Film stars who are in politics have done nothing. Only for Shoaki !

We have already seen how film stars, celebrities are serving people. There should be rule that after serving min 5 years on public life, they should be allowed to contest elections. This people will never visit their constituency and understand people issues. It is better to vote for politicians from the local area even though they are corrupt.
