Mangaluru, Sep 2: After the media carried the news of a high school boy injuring his hand while playing dangerous Blue Whale game in Mangaluru, parents are worried about the development.

The high school boy had scratched his hand with blade after playing the infamous game. His parents discovered it on right time. Before that school management had informed the parents on how the student lagged in studies. After that the parents were watching the boy.

The student is presently being counselled by doctors. His identity and that of his school cannot be revealed.

Meanwhile Mangaluru police commissioner T R Suresh said that there are no complaints either from the school, his parents or people regarding the boy injuring self after playing the online game.

The commissioner said that he will be asking police officers to create awareness on the dangers of the game while they go to schools and colleges to explain about safety in traffic and other subjects.
