Mangaluru Sep 2: Minister for food and civil supplies U T Khader demanded to withdraw ‘Mangaluru Chalo’ bike rally scheduled on September 7 which is organised by BJP Yuva Morcha.

Addressing media here on Saturday September 2, U T Khader said, “Dakshina Kannada has witnessed several unpleasant incidents in the past couple of months. If BJP has any concern towards the district in maintaining peace and harmony, they need to withdraw the Mangaluru Chalo rally.

“Why bike rally? People are coming all the way from Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, Mysuru and Bengaluru. If something goes wrong during the journey, who will be responsible? Now the situation is not right to hold the bike rally in the district as we are coming back to normalcy and there are chances of disruption in peace in the district,” he added.

He also said, "We are organising Unity March and there is nothing wrong in it. But there is possibility of untoward incidents during the bike rally. We should take care that minor issues will not lead to untoward incidents in the district,

When asked about Ramanath Rai missing home minister portfolio, Khader said, "Keeping five senior ministers in mind, chief minister Siddaramaiah took his decision and handed over home ministry to Ramalinga Reddy.”

When asked about Vijay Kumar Shetty’s statement that Rai is unfit to be home minister, U T Khader said, "I am not aware of any Vijay Kumar Shetty' statement on Ramanath Rai.”

As mentioned in the news, Khadar says "We are organising Unity March and there is nothing wrong in it. But there is possibility of untoward incidents during the bike rally"

That means, after Unity March, Khadar himself is not confident of "Unity" prevails in the district...!!
If Unity prevails, then Bike rally should be successful, due to immense unity created by the "Unity March" of Sickulars

Let the bike rally go on as planned. No govt. can ban people wishes, same like Congress hide Gujarat Ministers in Karnataka at the cost of DVS.

DAKU is mastermind behind such rallies. He warned state BJP leaders, not to sit back and relax as election is nearing. Even though culprits of all the murders in the state are behind bars, BJP is unnecessarily creating tensions for their political gain.

Ullal flyover is pending since year's, more over the MLA is a minister from the day 1 in this Cong government.
Golden opportunity to work for the constituency and development.

Rather than that , all the time is there in the world to call for a press conference and take up the unnecessary topic's.

BJP and 'Yatra' has unique bond ever since LK Advani took the 'Rath Yatra'' to sow the seeds of hate.
Only time to time names have been changed with regions appeal. As Karnataka assembly elections are BJP has decided to launch a Statewide ‘Parivarthana’ (transformation) yatra, tentatively from November 1.
The cash crunch UP which does not money to pay bill for Oxygen supply after the demonetisation the state BJP spent over Rs 6 crore in purchasing around 1,650 motorcycles for its UP Assembly election campaign and named it “Parivartan Yatra” .
The distribution of bikes under the Vistarak (outreach volunteer) programme for mass contact by BJP proved a huge success in Uttar Pradesh. Determined to replicate it in the forthcoming Assembly election in Karnataka, the party has launched the programme in the state too.
According to party sources, the party would meet the fuel and maintenance cost of the bikes too. So far over 30,000 have registered themselves to work as vistaraks. However, over 90% of them have volunteered only for the 15-day duration. The number of those registered for a full year term is 49. The first batch of bikes that has arrived would be distributed to these members and the party is confident of seeing a big rise in this number in the coming days.
The only difference in LK Advani's 'Rath Yatra' and 'Vistarak' is, Advani himself is the only rider of the chariot here there are many small version of it. The goal of all BJP Yatra is to create communal tensions.
Interestingly, when whole country is suffering from midnight fuel prices BJP Yuva Morcha bikes have no problem filling the empty tanks from tax money which they receive from corporate elites.
From China to Europe environmentally conscience parties opting for 'bicycles' , BJP adopting to polluting motorcycles.

September 7 falls on thursday. Imagine who will spare the time on odd days other than weekend. Its only paid jobless goons who are performing their duties merely to destabilize the region. BJP has the history. So no surprize.
