Mangaluru: Sharath Madivala case - SP shows video, asserts no sacrilege during house search

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Sep 4: Dakshina Kannada district superintendent of police, Sudheer Kumar Reddy, showed video footage relating to search conducted by police in the house of Kalandar, who has gone into hiding relating to Sharath Madivala murder case, to prove that police had not indulged in activities like tearing Quran and Madrasa books as alleged by the family members of Kalandar.

He said that strict action will be taken if it is found that books were torn by people after the police left. He pointed out that in the video footage released by the family, police personnel are never found. He added that during the search, the police got some clues about Kalandar's whereabouts and that the police are confident of arresting him soon.

The video presented by the police shows that the police removed their footwear before entering the house, showed search warrant to the family before beginning the search.

The video also shows the investigating officer questioning the family about the contents of a bag at which the family says it should not be touched. After the family opened the bag and showed contents to family, the video shows that the bag was returned to the family.

The entire search operation has been recorded on video and nowhere any scene of tearing of books could be seen.

yes whatever the a holy book it may be either hindu, muslim, chirstian.... but we should follow that book & change our attitude. other wise what is the use in simply keeping in our house. if kalander read that holy book properly then he would not do such kind of crime which is not taught by any religious book. my view is very clear, whoever it may be, whichever religion it may be, but we people should not allow the criminals to take shelter under religious sentiments.

Even if the police had committed the so called thing, is it bigger Crime than the one done by Kalandar ? When a person who read those books or lived in between those books could not save himself from becoming a Evil person, why do you expect the police to show any mercy ! . Elders could not save their son follow the good path, but accuse police of throwing those books..

Before this murderer was arrested, there was a press conference saying innocents are being harassed. Same people are making now allegations to divert the issue and create tension. Please arrest this people for not allowing police to perform duty and create communal tension. I am sure there is lot of support from top for this people.
