George Michael's first posthumous single to debut on Thursday

London, Sep 7 (IANS): A new track from singer George Michael, who passed away last December, is set for a BBC Radio 2 premiere on Thursday.

Although not formally confirmed, record producer-musician Nile Rodgers appeared to imply on Twitter that the song was going to be his remix of the 1980s track "Fantasy", reports hollywoodreporter.com.

Rodgers took part in a documentary on Michael before the pop star's unexpected death, and had played the remix while on tour this summer.

In a statement posted on his website, Michael's sisters reassured fans that Michael's creative team at Sony Records "will continue bringing you all the projects they had been working so hard on for you, exactly as Yog (Michael) would have wanted".
