Mangaluru: 'China under immense pressure to assert its supremacy' - B L Santhosh

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Sep 10: "China has always been known to indulge in one skirmish or the other with 23 countries located in its neghbourhood. It is suffering from its own compulsive mindset to establish supremacy in the world," said B L Santhosh, co organizing secretary of All India BJP Committee.

He was addressing the gathering at the 'China-India friendly war' programme organized by Citizens Council's city chapter at Sangh Niketan here on Saturday September 9.

During the last five decades, China's major achievement is in usurping and belonging to others. China, which has raised controversy over its border with India at Doklam, appears to believe that it is located between heaven and earth. It has been making efforts to rule the whole world. The mentality of China can be termed as 'middle kingdom syndrome' he felt.

Noting that China shares its border with five Indian states, Santhosh cautioned India to watch its steps closely as China wants to establish its supremacy here.

On this occasion, a Kannada book, 'Kadana Kuthoohaliya Madisuva Ankusha',authored by noted orator, Chakravarti Sulibele, was released.

President of city chapter of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Bhargav Tantry, presided. Vice president of Citizens Council's city unit, Dr Amarnath Suhoor, welcomed. Kiran Shenoy compered the programme.

Majority of our citizens can be fooled by bhashans. We sheep, neither have our own analysis nor have ability to process data. We are fed peanuts, and resultant is we are monkies.

Stage shows are sufficient to make us feel 'wow our leaders have done it',and we too are there'.

Among progressive nations, we have become cartoons.

First let us put our house in order. The biggest problem we face and those countries which are keen on importing our products, suffer from highest level of cheating, corruption and also bribing. A major company in Canada imported hand made carpets from India to retail it in their 500+ stores across Canada. When the product arrived, they got the shock of their life the entire consignment was wrapped in poor quality gunny sacks with green markings. So, the Canadian company had to open each and every one of those carpets and re-pack locally in order to sell it to public. That was the last time they imported from India. Now it is importing from Turkey.
The company that I worked in Dubai arranged to export 1 ton bitumen from India when the marketing managers Indian friend requested him to get it from India rather than from Pakistan. Yes, he did it, after testing the samples which gave far superior results Vs Pakistan Bitumen. But, when shipment reached Mombasa and the product was tested by independent labs, the entire shipment was rejected due to extremely poor quality, not fit for any paving! Luckily, the LC was cashable only on receipt of quality certificate otherwise, the company would have lost heavily. You try to order and import anything from China and it is certain it will pass all certification because, they don't cheat. It is easy to say reject Chinese goods - you will not be able to do it in another 2 decades unless we change ourselves and start producing products to International Standards. We need companies like Wipro, Tata's to produce such quality products and surely not Modi's friends - Ambanis and Adanis.

Unless we become responsible Government with unity, peace & tolerance among our regionally & culturally divided population (States), learn to take care of our own people & establish strong manufacturing industry & establish powerful UN membership like China and accumulate enough foreign exchange We should not disturb Chines Dragon. Unmistakably China is the powerful Nation on earth and it keeps a low profile.

    Sire,
'62 was no joke ! 'Cause through 50's China suffered HUGE famines which were man-made. Though, many agree Zhou en Lai bei(j)ng the culprit. But, Chinese people are not that foolish to go to war. Yes, they have decided to run behind Yin like a Jack-Wabbit. But to prepare them for war took a 5 year famine before '62. This is fact. Anyone can be Abetted, But it takes a WILL OF IRON to STOP ONESELF.

If there is going to peace in the world, the only India could be champion of that peace.
