    @Shan, Dubai,

    Both Mr. Mustafa and the Government became rich; but by grabbing the bread from the poor who are becoming more poor because of the habit of gambling by putting money in lottery.

    To by one ticket one does not need to spend his entire income of the month. We are paying to Government 50 times more than that as tax for everything, so what if someone try his luck by spending a small amount and win if it is written in his fate.

    @S Vijayan,
    Like all bad habits (bad according to me), It starts with small spending until it reaches big amounts each month; even when the buyer is very poor in some cases.

    Nawaz Udipi,you see nobody is obliging them to buy a ticket.It is their own wish .Now this man Mustafa will be having enough invitings ,or far relatives become close relatives, and enough people asking for help.Thats the bad sides of making public of lottery win.Many people pesture ,agents to buy house ,or autos,or property.He should now be careful not to fall in wrong hands.or hacking his account.

    Oh, common, Kerala which was ruled by Congress alternatively with left requires lottery for Ache din so you agree that Keralites don't enjoy Ache din. As far as Karnataka is concerned how many jobs has Siddharamaiah created after coming to power. How many new industries have been set up in Karnataka after he came to power.

    @ Satya,
    Yes, since putting money in lottery is a form of gambling, it is prohibited in Islam. But Mr. Mustafa preferred money. Its his decision for which he is responsible.
