Bahrain: Rajkumar Elected President of Guru Seva Samiti

Mangalore, Jun 5: Rajkumar, former president of Kannada Sangha and a well-known social worker has been elected as president of Guru Seva Samiti for the year 2008.  Guru Seva Samiti was formed in 2003 for community service and social work.  Samiti has 300 dedicated committee members in the service of organization.

 Raghu S Poojary is the new vice-president while Krishna Naimpalli is the general secretary. Kankanady Girish Somanath has been elected assistant general secretary and Vijay Kumar has been elected as treasurer. Kamalaksha Amin is the new entertainment secretary and Karunakar N Pojary is the sport secretary. Surendra Suvarna Udyavar is the assistant entertainment secretary while Dinakar Bangera has been elected as assistant treasurer.
