Kochi, Jun 6: A book on Indian pacer S Sreesanth titled Keralathinte Sreesanth has been released here.

The book written by Malayalam daily Mathrubhumi's Sports magazine Editor K Viswanath was released last night at a function attended by Sreesanth's teammate Robin Uthappa and cricket commentator Charu Sharma among others.

The book features the pacer's journey, right from his early days to his inclusion in the National side. It also contains a poem penned by Sreesanth himself.

While Sreesanth feels that the book will encourage him to perform better, Uthappa hoped it will only help the speedster achieve laurels in his future cricketing endeavours.

The function was also graced by Malayalam film actor Dileep and family members of both Sreesanth and Uthappa.

The book releasing function was held along with the launching of a 'Cricket homestay' here, in which former Kerala Ranji player J K Mahendra, Sreesanth, Uthappa, and Sharma are joint partners.
