Mangaluru Sep 27: Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) demanded expelling of Rohingya Muslims and also condemned the participation of former Vice President of India Hameed Ansari in international conference by PFI women wing National Women’s Front.
Addressing media here on Wednesday September 27, district president of VHP, Jagadish Shenava, said, “Rohingya Muslims have taken refuge in various parts of India and they pose threat to internal security as central government has submitted affidavit to Supreme Court regarding the same. Let Pakistan and Bangladesh welcome Rohingya Muslims. It is said that they have direct link with terrorist groups like Taliban. It is also reported that a mass grave containing the bodies of 28 Hindus, including women and children, was found. We demand mass deportation of Rohingya Muslims back to Myanmar,”
He also said, "We strongly condemn the participation of former Vice President of India, Hameed Ansari, in a national conference organised by PFI women wing National Women Front. We also demand apology from the former vice president for taking part in the national conference,”
Holidays for Ayudha Pooja and Vijaya Dashami
“Father Muller Educational Institutes and some other educational institution have not declared holidays for Ayudha Pooja and Vijaya Dashami that scheduled on September 29 and 30 which are government holidays. Government has sent a circular for giving holidays for the same. We have met the concerned administration regarding the same but now they have agreed to provide one day leave, but we demand two days leave for the students,”
