Shooting of 'Aiyaary' wrapped up

Mumbai, Sep 30 (IANS): Filmmaker Neerja Pandey has wrapped shooting of Sidharth Malhotra starrer "Aiyaary" in Cairo.

"What started in Kashmir ends in Cairo! Many thanks to the cast and crew of 'Aiyaary'," Pandey tweeted on Saturday.

"Aiyaary" is based on a real life incident that revolves around two strong-minded army officers with completely different views, yet right in their own ways. The film portrays Sidharth as an army officer sharing a mentor-protégé bond with Manoj Bajpayee. It also features Pooja Chopra.

Manoj also took to Twitter to share his experience of shooting the film.

"'Aiyaary' wrap what an amazing experience! Thank you all," Manoj posted.

Before Cairo, the movie was also shot in London and Delhi too.

Pandey has previously helmed films like "A Wednesday", "Special 26" and "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story".

Presented by Reliance Entertainment and Plan C Studios, "Aiyaary" is a Friday Filmworks Productions and is produced by Shital Bhatia. It is scheduled to release on January 26 next year.
