Mangaluru: Anupama Shenoy who resigned as DySP to form regional party

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Oct 3: Anupama Shenoy, who was working as deputy superintendent of police (DySP) of Kudligi in Ballari district before she resigned on account of friction with politicians 18 months back, is planning to build a new political outfit. In all likelihood, it will be in the form of regional party.

The former cop said that she has taken this decision in all seriousness. She has made up her mind to try her hand a politics after considering pros and cons. Anupama said that she will make all out efforts to float the new party in time and field its candidates in the coming assembly election. In her announcement which came out on Gandhi Jayanti, Anupama said that her aim is to drive away corruption from public life.

On Monday, Anupama had convened a meeting of her supporters at her residence at Uchila in Udupi district. "I want to see that my new party works as a link between people's representatives and public servants. In addition to eradication of corruption, my party will work for the welfare of women, against the practice of untouchability, to realize the dream of Gram Swaraj, and to conserve environment," she said.

"I am sending information about my decision on forming new party through social websites to invite response from the people and receiving their advice. We will hand over responsibilities to leaders in individual districts, and the second meeting on party formation will be held on October 15. In all likelihood, official announcement about new party will be made by November first week, and all processes have been set rolling towards making my dream of creating a new party a reality," she explained.

Anupama said that she had initially revealed her thoughts about formation of new party with friends and well-wishers and was buoyed by the support extended by them to her idea. She added that she hopes to complete formalities of party formation including christening and registering the same with Election Commission so that candidates can be fielded on behalf of the new party in the coming assembly election. "I am ready to face challenges which might come in the way of starting a new party," she announced.

she will not get invitation from bjp because she cannot compete with shobhakka in terms of drama.
so can't even join congress, because her drama won't work there.
so at last create her own party with the Devdas ( hindi ) movie dialogue " hamein to aur badnaam hona hai "

    Madamji want more loot.
For that politics is the last resort.
When she openly rebelled against higher officer's & ruling party politicians she thought opposition party of Karnataka &ruling party of India Will call her & offer her a seat for contesting election but that not happened.
Even she met central leaders also but unfortunately she lost the ground.
    Now what she will do?
    No other options.

Regional parties don't work in Karnataka. Take the case of Bangarappa's Karnataka Congress, R.K. Hegde's Lok Shakthi, Yeddy's KJP, etc. All have gone into oblivion. Finally she will have to join one of the national parties.
