Bomer to go behind the camera for ' American Crime Story...'


Los Angeles, Oct 3 (IANS): Actor Matt Bomer will be making his directorial debut with an episode of "American Crime Story: Versace".

There are reports that the 39-year-old has been finalised as the director for one episode by his friend Ryan Murphy, who is the series' executive producer.

According to TV Line, this will mark the actor's directorial debut, reports dailymail.co.uk. 

Bomer will call the shots for the eighth episode of the second season, which is set for a January premiere.

The story follows the murder of fashion mogul Gianni Versace, who was gunned down in 1997 while walking back to his home from a local cafe.

Bomer and Murphy have frequently worked together in the past. Bomer, a Golden Globe Winner, previously starred in "The Normal Heart" and "American Horror Story". He also appeared in "The New Normal" and "Glee". All were either produced or created by Murphy.
