Bengaluru: Why Prakash Rai was silent on Cauvery water dispute? - BJP

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Oct 4: Multi-language actor Prakash Rai has come under attack by the state BJP leaders on Tuesday, October 3 for his comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi a day earlier.

Prakash Rai had hit out at Modi for his silence on journalist Gauri Lankesh’s murder.

“We may not be able to see Gauri’s killers but we can see those who have spewed vitriol. The people, who our Prime Minister follows, are among them,” Rai had said.

Rai had also said that he would return his awards as Modi was a better actor.

BJP state spokesperson and former minister S Suresh Kumar recalled that Rai had refused to react on the Cauvery water dispute. “Rai had stated that he was an actor and it will be wrong on his part to comment on sensitive issue,” Kumar said.

“But now the same Prakash Rai does not seem to mind to criticise the Prime Minister. If Rai has any political ambition, let him float his own political party,” Kumar added.

Reacting on Rai’s remarks, BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa said “Modi critics have been on the rise during the recent days. Rai cannot belittle Modi by making baseless remarks,”

Yeddyurappa also said that the BJP had condemned the murder and sought an impartial probe.

BJP's main vote bank is Billavas, Unlike other community Billavas dont vote for their Community leader For (Eg: B.Janardhan Poojary's defeat). Billavas blindly support BJP no matter who is the candidate. Fake Hindutva is preached by RSS and BJP, not Congress. What happened to the Hindutva which is preached by BJP when it comes to Kavya Poojary and Baliga.

first these intellectuals/buddijeevigalu/komusauharda vedike...... should disclose to the public that to which political party they like or belongs. becoz the murder happened in Karnataka & congress party is ruling the state & again law & order is comes under state responsibility. BUT still these people blame Modi only & mum about congress party/govt. what is the reason? why these people quiet about congress party & state govt? is these protestors belongs to congress party? if their agenda is very clear then they should put pressure on state govt to arrest the culprits but seeing their attitude they are not interested in arrest of the murderer instead they feel they got the chance to blame Modi & RSS. Who is behind this protest???

Now BJP will issue a list of points on which citizens can raise questions. All the citizens of India has the rights to question ruling party whoever it may be. BJP cant order people on which topic they have to comment. Prakash rai has every right to raise his voice on which ever case he wish.
Unfortunately PM likes to follow hate mongers.

Why the BJP did not go to the Center in the Cauvery issue? Why many innocent Hindus are murdered in the district, Why the BJP has not protested to get justice for Kavya Pojari, Sawjanya, aksatha, Vinyaka baaliga, Harish Poojari? It is the principle of the BJP party to oppose the social thinkers and Secularism. Prakash Rai is an actor representing all the state, Everyone in the country loves him, The Cauvery issue is the Matter of two states.

I think BJP should not worry for Rai comment because
    (a) The listeners will realize the true colour of Rai, as no one is so naïve now a days in politics
    (b) Making Modi responsible is sidelining Nidde Rama, which congress need to worry about
    (c) If Rai has high hopes on Modi, that is to be seen positive from BJP side
    (d) Even Purandara Dasa in his Bhajan Lyrics have vented anger on Lord Krishna out of pure love & respect, may be Rai also wanted to do the same to his beloved Lord Modi...
