Rishi Kapoor 'proud' of daughter


Mumbai, Oct 5 (IANS): Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor says his daughter Riddhima makes him proud.

Rishi, 65, on Wednesday took to Twitter on Thursday, where he shared a photograph of his daughter.

"Riddhima you make me so proud to be one of the top 25 entrepreneurs in Delhi. Love you darling! Jai Mata Di," he captioned the image.

On the work front, Rishi currently has two films in his kitty -- "Mulk" and "102 Not Out".

"102 Not Out" also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The film is based on writer-director Saumya Joshi's similarly titled successful Gujarati play. The film is a sweet story between a father and a son and the duo will also speak a few lines in Gujarati in the film!

Amitabh and Rishi, who will be seen sharing screen space after two decades, have previously worked in films like "Amar Akbar Anthony", "Naseeb" and "Kabhi Kabhie".

"Mulk", a social thriller, is based on true life events. It also features Taapsee Pannu, Prateik Babbar, Ashutosh Rana and Neena Gupta.

'English Vinglish' clocks 5, Sridevi excited

Actress Sridevi is ecstatic that her film "English Vinglish" has completed five years of its release in Hindi cinema on Thursday.

"Five cheers to 'English Vinglish' Gauri Shinde," she tweeted.

Directed by Shinde, "English Vinglish" revolves around a housewife and caterer Shashi is usually mocked by her family for not knowing English. Her attempt to learn the language helps her rediscover herself and reassert her value as a mother and as a wife.

Sridevi was last seen in "Mom".
