Mumbai, Oct 8 (IANS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the most followed Indian actor on Twitter, now has a fan following of 30 million on the micro-blogging platform.

Big B, 74, who has given hits like "Sholay", "Deewar", "Paa", "Baghban", "Bhoothnath", "Black" and "Piku", is ahead of stars Shah Rukh Khan (28.9 million), Salman Khan (26.5 million), Aamir Khan (22 million), Priyanka Chopra (19.7 million) and Deepika Padukone (20.7 million). Amitabh is right behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has a following of 35.1 million.

On Saturday night, Amitabh expressed his excitement. "Thirty million on Twitter. Some joys, some bitter. Looking for words to match the rhyme...hitter, sitter, fitter, litter," he said.

The "Don" star is active on the digital platform, and uses the medium to share updates about his personal and professional life.

Amitabh is currently busy with two films -- "102 Not Out" and "Thugs Of Hindostan".

He will share screen space with veteran actor Rishi Kapoor in "102 Not Out". The two will be working together after over two decades.
