Bengaluru, Oct 9: Narendra from Bengaluru, a soldier currently deployed on duty at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, shot himself dead with the service rifle issued to him in the afternoon on October 8.
Narendra committed suicide in the army camp at Pahalgam, which is located in Anantnag district of southern Kashmir. Although an injured Narendra was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, his life could not be saved.
A complaint about the unnatural death was filed in the local police station, and the personnel have launched investigation into the suicide.
