Mangaluru Oct 11: Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) and Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) staged protest opposite Mini Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday October 11, against the arrest of HJV leader Jagadish Karanth.

Addressing the protestors, joint secretary of VHP Shivanand Mendon, said," State government has utterly failed in providing justice for the people. Hindu activists are constantly booked under criminal cases for demanding justice. State government is doing this to gain vote from the minorities and they are against the Hindus. We strongly condemn this. Police are not arresting the cow smugglers. Instead they arrest the cow protectors,”

“This protest has been organised in both Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts at different places. Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy had ordered to arrest Jagadish Karanth for his speech. This indicates they want to destroy Hindu activists. Now it is proved that Jagadish Karanth is innocent as he has been granted a bail. Government should treat everyone equally and stop vote bank politics."

HJV leaders Vasanth Shetty, Sandeep Shetty and others were present.

If one notice these so called HJV and VHP acts like they are the actual saviours of Hindu religion. If they are asked to recite one 'Shloka' from Vedas these same protest voices will definitely go mute. Our Hindu brothers regardless of their affiliation to parties need to do some serious retrospect.

Have any of our Hindu brothers seen these groups seen them protesting against unemployment, corruption, price rise, women empowerment, education, equality, lack of infrastructure and so on?

These people in the shadow of Hindu rights are making their religious business running. The only means of their business activity is to create religious tensions instigation different religions.

Once again they are here to spoil the image of Hinduism.

    Jai Hind

HJV should understand what the Police system is like...
Police arrested Karanth for (atleast) few hours, although there was enough strong evidences against him. Police should arrest him, put behind bars for few years then only these goons will obey rules..

as long he keeps control over his mouth and talks about welfare of all people, then things will be better.
The moment he says hindus are hurt..... he is lying big time, no body can hurt a hindu except by his adharma and through his foolish act.

Sanathana dharma is not shaken by anyone but our own selves through selfishness/greed/fear.
As long we respect people from other comminities and learn to live peacefully everything will be ok.
Only because of these minority hindus who claim to be the saviours of dharma.....are causing all the havoc in the socitey and spoiling names of majority Hindu community.

I know these days we Hindus....majority of them have learnt what these political parties can do in the name of Dharma etcc.....

Mangaluru (Smart City) Police should be sufficiently equipped and empowered (without any political interference) to deal with hooliganism/immoral rowdyism, in a firm and effective manner.

We have already suffered for far too long and cannot be allowed to ruin the atmosphere/social fabric of society any more.

    Dear HJV & VHP ,
Please advise your leaders not to use filthy language on other religion or government servants based on their religion who carries out duty . if that is done then you dont need to leave your job and protest on street. To call yourselves as Hindu leaders please read the scriptures of beautiful religion and preach sure people will listen rather talking about killing other religion people.
