We pray for soul of Late.Padmapriya to rest in peace. We are 24 students (18girls and 6 boys)residing near the house of Late.Padmapriya. we are studying in different schools and colleges in udupi. At different class like primary school, high school, PUC, graduation and post graduation level.

We together express our deep concern about her. We know about Late.Padmapriya very well. She is a good lady. She helped us very much for our education whe we are in trouble we can not forget her in our life .we got inspired by her. She supported our life and education. Not only students, and lot help for patients.

She was working hard for family, husband, education of children, maintance of finance, health of her il-laws. she gave continuous help and encouragement for students like us. We got shocked that she is no more. till today we did not came out of mental shock/hurt. While taking food we get her memory. She was light not only for her family but but for our education, and our life too.

She supported us very much. we are getting feelings as it became unable for us to support her when she was in trouble in her last attempt to save her precious life. She might have suffered with toooo much of mental pain, and stress in 4 and half days in Delhi. More than that she got harrased tooo much. In emergency she took help of her family friend.. but medias were showing that as her affair with him. It is NOT TRUE. he was her just family friend.

She was good lady. She did not had time to even sit. So much load was enforced on her head. Even she alone handled all in responsible way Then where comes time for matter of affair?? Because of unskillfull handling of case and interference by govt her life was not saved. She became alone in last moments of her life. She did not get any security , support, not even humanitarian considerations.

We STRONGLY CONDEM the cheap mentality or tendency of some people who created, and spread rumours about her general friendship with family friend. We live near and her residence all around the time. we know her better than any one. she is good lady like all other house wifes. She had strong pain in her mind about harassment in family.

She used to forget it by seeing her small 2 children. Mostly she might came to know or got the clue regarding master plan is behind her to her life. And there is no more days for her in udupi. In order to save atleast her life, she might came out of udupi , went to Delhi. Because Delhi is ruled by govt. belonging to different political party, than karnataka.

Unfortunately her life is ended there in suspicious manner. She went to Delhi as she may get life atleast there, but she didn’t got chance to save her precious life. Those who planned to end her have succeded in ending her physically. But she is  alive in our hearts for ever like elder sister of all of us Those criminals have not allowed her to live in this earth. But we allow her to l

It is really shock and heart breaking. Very sad to see the pictures, tears are rolling from the eyes. Poor, innocent 2 little children dont know what they did to their beloved mother.I am also mother of 2 young children it is NOT POSSIBLE for a MOTHER to committ suicide by leaving her innocent children back.

This is the case of kidnapped & killed then hung as if she committed suicide(like puttur sahanashankari-case 6 yrs back) I saw and talked with her just 7 days back. now seeing her dead. i cant imagine... I pray padmapriyas soul may rest in peace.

It is really sad and every human being should grieve for this un natural death, whom none of us would know but only read and understand been a good human being but for untold reasons had to take the extreme step. Let us remind ourselves that we respect our fellow human beings, be it wife, children, parents and our anybody whom we know or do not know, let us forget our positions, be it party president, or country president, pm, cm, or any large officers or who ever he or she is and try to be human beings and start behaving like a human being first and then our work whatever our position in this world it is. We all forget that we are all human beings and same blood flows in everybody's veins and same colour, keep reminding this fact, be it tv journalist or other forms of media, stop questioning and start answering ourselves and make this world worth living.

Preethi Maben,I agree with you that CBI enquiry should be conducted. Police of two or 3 states are invloved in this case. As per the report Sunil Kumar Ex-MLA of Karkala has been closely associated with Bhat especially during those last few days.

He had even confirmed once that “Padma” has been found in Kolar and the media would be briefed about it in the morning. Whether it was Bhat, Sunil and brother of Padma who were the unknown 3 visitors to her flat at Delhi in the afternoon is not clear so far. Did she open the door because her brother called her is suspected at some quarters.

Women's organisations have to demand the investigation by CBI so that no such ill treatment to women shall be couraged. Let us write to NHRC through Senior Advocate Pramila Nesargi, Sushma Swaraj, Sonia Gandhi, Brinda karat and Uma Bharti on this issue pressing for CBI enquiry.

This hungry media without knowing any facts and truth publish any rubbish news, which makes some people to take some wrong decisions. See for Arushi case, everyday all the news channel and paper focused on this news, which makes the present day childrens more worrid about their future. Instead of showing personal problems a MLA's family, they should have focussed on the poor people who are dying everyday. That said, tragedies happen in everybodys life. I think this is one such case where a woman jumped the gun and did total mis calculation of her future.

I agree media & social pressure would have pushed her to commit suicide. If it had happened to a lay person, there would have been a higher chance of person returning safe & uniting back with her family. Wed, Jun 18 2008

In the last few days I am following this sad incidence carefully and closely by reading all the reports of print and electronic media. Few issues regarding this incidence are disturbing and hurting me..... Why the Karnataka police having known that Padmapriya was in Delhi did not take the help of Delhi Police in time to rescue her....

If she was 'kidnapped' to rescue here or to provide psychological support & protection in case ‘she was disturbed or brain washed’?. If this case has been handled sensitively and discretely this disaster would have been averted.

With newly found ‘power’ the State Govt used all the resources under their behest of Home Ministry and made this case a major block buster and ‘ever hungry’ media followed……. Having ascertained that Padmapriya is alive and that she has gone to Delhi 'willingly' or by ‘brain wash’ as claimed now, the route of investigation should have been more humane and sensitive and far reaching. What else to say?

A ‘house wife’s’ agony ended in her untimely and shocking death. And above all the two sweet children who lost thier mother are witness to this frenzy. What is their state of mind? and how they will over come this tragedy? Like Padmapriya, the wives of many sincere ‘public servants’ may have to undergo lots of lonely life and at times subdued by all powerful husbands who spend most of the time for public service.

This may cause psychologically stress and their dreams suppressed. At this juncture a shoulder to ‘cry’ might at time be necessary to vent the pressure inside. This vulnerable status of a good women at times can be misused by few opportunist ‘Kamuka’ men under the guise of good Samritan. Take care & beware. Only time shall reveal and heal all the misgivings on this distressing story of a simple house wife who lost her life surely not for her misdeeds. May Padmapriya's soul rest in Peace.

Media here definitely is the suspect. People can blame anything but its definitely a clean picture that shows the sorrows and the heartily feelings of Mr. Bhat. If the intelligent Udupi people can't understand this, then there is no point to the word called 'FEELINGS'.

Dear Udupi people please do keep some emotionality at least for the two kids of Bhat. When someone in vain blaming is not the right solution. Just realize the situation and act. I will only pray god to give strength to Mr. Bhat at this poor situation and pray god that her soul rest in peace. Value to the humanity is the biggest thing in life. Hope all the wise people of Udupi at least will pray god for the better wealth.

Political big-wigs need to exercise duty & responsibility, need answers to many questions Parents of Padmapriya may have, or else her soul will not rest in peace. If this is not done, it's a shame. Let the truth come Out.
