Sai Tamhankar on protein diet for Marathi film

Mumbai, Nov 7 (IANS): Actress Sai Tamhankar is on a protein diet for her upcoming Marathi film by director Alok Rajwade.

"People should eat what they want to and work out. It's all about eating at the right time. Like my last meal for the day is at 8 p.m. I'm a huge fan of chapattis so, when I'm on a protein diet, I get dreams of chapattis," Sai said in a statement.

"I love these diets because they keep you disciplined. My protein diet consists of eggs, tofu, chicken breast, loads of dal and fish. I'm a huge fan of home-cooked food. I also believe that while you are following a diet, the most important thing is sleep. People should at least sleep for seven to eight hours," she added.

The "Hunterrr" actress is also undergoing a cross-functional training.

Asked about the film, she said: "I can't disclose anything about the film, but yes I'm very excited and looking forward to this one. It will be very different and I'm currently prepping for it."

The first schedule of the film will begin later this month.
