'Golmaal Again' crosses Rs 200 cr in India


Mumbai, Nov 14 (IANS): Filmmaker Rohit Shettys comedy horror film "Golmaal Again" has minted over Rs 200 crore in India in 24 days since its release. The makers are overwhelmed with the response.

Released on October 20, the fourth installment of the "Golmaal" franchise collected Rs 1.69 crore on Sunday, taking its cumulative total to Rs 201.43 crore at the Indian box office.

"I am overwhelmed with the response the film has received and thank the worldwide audience for appreciating the film," Shetty said in a statement.

The film stars Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Prakash Raj and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

Shibasish Sarkar, COO, Reliance Entertainment, said: "It is very rare for a film to create such wonders at the box office. We are thankful to our friend and partner Rohit for his incredible vision that made this possible."
