Mangaluru: Protesters vandalize ready-to-open bar building at Talapady

Mangaluru, Nov 28: A building in Talapady in the taluk where a bar was to be opened shortly, was vandalized by protesters on Tuesday November 28 morning.

The proposed bar building is located at Narla Padil. Window panes and plumbing accessories were among the things destroyed by the people.

A protest had been held here on Monday by the people of Talapady, who have been vehemently opposing the opening of this bar in their village.

    Sorry to say that we Indians have a destructive mind.
    We destroy private as well as public property for silly reasons.
    We forget that it's our own tax money is getting wasted.

    There is a difference drinking at home and drinking at bar.Drinking in house may not bring your kick whereas drinking in bar will bring you more kick.To be safe drink at home only in the evening and nobody will come to your way
