Udupi, Nov 29: General secretary of Pejawar Blood Donating Team, Ansar Ahmed, registered a complaint in the town police station here on Tuesday November 28 about people who have been carrying out slanderous campaign against the head of Pejawar Math, Sri Vishweshateertha. He has sought legal action against the guilty.

"Certain organizations, which have wrongly analyzed the address of Pejawar Swamiji at the Dharma Sansad, have been actively involved with insulting him. They have been trying to sully the image of the Swamiji. Photos of the Swamiji, which are in bad taste and insulting to the Swamiji, are being spread through social websites. People involved with these things should be arrested immediately. Those who share such posts should also be acted upon," he said in the complaint.

Ansar has advocated that in a democratic set up, everyone has the right to protest against wrong things, but he feels that deriding someone is inhuman. "Pejawar Swamiji is a highly reverred spiritual leader, and disrespecting him shows distorted mindset of the people. Some people are conspiring to disturb peace in the city," he added.

The delegation which lodged the complaint also had Arif Doddanagudde, Shahil Rahamathulla, Sandeep and John Lobo, all members of Pejawar Blood Donating Team.

    It is unfortunate that Pejawar Mutt became springboard for BJP's backdoor for communal policies. Recently held 'Dharma Sansad' many speakers in the event has not only gave communal speeches which itself is against constitutional framework.
    An amazing fact about the Indian Constitution adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India (CA) on November 26, 1949 is that out of 35 constitutional polities born after World War II, India is the only country which survives with its Constitution. All other countries fell prey to totalitarianism, civil war and military take-over. It is not that Indian democracy had smooth sailing, the constitutional structure had no infirmities and Indian polity was able to do justice to the Have Nots but it is here that a Constitution based on liberal democracy and secularism continues to survive.
    When nation celebrated its adoption and celebrate 68th anniversary of Indian constitution RSS mourned it. Sadly on the 68th anniversary instead of praising the secular framework of the constitution Pejawar Swamiji has opposed the constitution in its original form and asked for amendment.
    Udupi district was known to be pioneer of banking industries, medical education. Haji Abdullah, T.M.A Pai, U R Rao(ISRO), Dr. Kota Karanth are remembered to this date for their contribution to the nation.
    Unfortunately Pejawar Mutt has replaced the good work with communal card. Swamiji who should be guiding force to the social upliftment of his society is more leaned towards politics.
    If Udupi boiling with communal tempers Pejawar should be directly responsible for it and Dharmasthala Hegde should be partially bear the responsiblity of any communal distrubances.

    Everyone is good except they give hate speeches and harass people in the name of religion. Beef is one of the agenda at a focal point.I don't eat beef and do respect the sentiment of all swami s and majority. I consider cow as my mother and feel sad the torture and killing cows. Hope all we respect the same.

    Pejawar swamiji is architecting mandir concept even going against law . Supreme court still not given its verdict which means there are people who cant trust supreme court. Mr ansar ahamed the whole leaders of sangh parivar threatened muslims in samajotsava speech about inter faith marriage where people like you have no guts to present a protest or complaint but you can file a complaint favouring pejawar swamiji. . Do you know who spoiled the blood of 2000 people in gujrat long back. The same sanghi elements. Your blood donation camp is a best example of DARPOK HARMONY.

    It just simply impossible to regulate what gets written over the internet. Just do a google search on any prominent public figure and there would 100 article on smallest of the small things. Police / Government can neither regulate the contents of the internet, nor it is their job to do so.

    My message to anyone who gets offended by these kind of articles should (a) stop surfing the internet; and (b) visit a psychologist to treat their ego.

    Just look at Jossey for inspiration. Everyone rants about his '2014' comment but that still makes no impact on him. He is the symbol of calmness and true internet spirit. Jai Hind, Jai Jossey.
