Kuwait: Unique Events Management’s ‘Aja Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ enthralls spectators

Kuwait, Nov 30: Unique Event Management (UEM) conducted its second ‘Aja Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ talent hunt competition in dance and singing at American International School Auditorium, Maidan Hawalli here on November 17.

The performers’ exuberant fans and friends of all ages came for an evening of live entertainment, and a dance competition held for children of different age groups of all Indian school participants.

All contestants, 5-17 years of age, were well trained dancers. They competed through weeks of eliminations, leading to the finale of ‘Aja Jhalak Dikhlaja.

Jhankar Group, Saranya Trehan and Aart Shaala topped category A, Jhankar Group, Aart Shala and Dhoom Dance Group topped category B and Preethi Sethi and Abhineni Vamshi bagged the top honors in category C.

Liltte Champ 2016 winners too participated in the competition. Sara Lobo, Samrutha Prasad and Angelita Lewis participated in singing and Aishwarya Gopakumar, Sara Hasnain and Nishita Godishala participated in dancing.

The participants performed traditional filmy dance under the scrutiny of renowned Bollywood choreographer, actor, director and producer Ganesh Acharya. Young talented singers of last year’s Little Champ contest winners were judged by Zee TV Saregama fame Sagnika Saha and Voice of India fame Snigdhajit Bhowmik.

Each judge displayed their voting paddles for every dance and song performed, and the final tally also included votes collected from every table.

Singdhajit Bhowmik rendered some melodious tracks and Sagnika Saha who turned anchor cum singer and dancer for this show, showcased dance which made the audience to dance.

"Everyone is a winner tonight," saidy Ganesh Acharya, as he congratulated each group on their energy and dancing skills by performing a few dance steps on the stage along with the children.

As the final drum roll sounded, the ‘Aja Jalakh Dikhhla Jaa 2017 winner’s trophy was awarded to the winning team by Ganesh Acharya and Kuwaiti singer Mubark Al Rashed.
Mubarak dedicated a Hindi song to Ganesh Acharya, the vibrant singers and to the lovely audience with his voice.

The choreographers of all the dance groups said that they are hooked on to dancing as they enjoy all styles. After winning, they said they were overjoyed and got great experience being a part of the competition.

Little Champion Competition 2016 finalists were also awarded prizes by Ganesh Acharya and Mubarak Al Rashed along with event organizer James Paul, brand manager Ajmera Khan and event supporter ICS president Ashfaq Khan, Harpreet Singh and ICS team.

Token of gratitude and love was expressed by the management by presenting mementos to all the judges, sponsors and the dignitaries.

Unique Event Management director James Paul thanked all the participants and winners along with audience for their support and assured to bring many more events in future which will bring out the best of children. He expressed his consent about the main reason to organize this event is to promote Indian culture in Kuwait among Kuwaitis, Indians and non-Kuwaitis and also to bind Indo-Kuwait relationship through socio-cultural activities.

The celebrity guests enthralled the crowed with their soul touching voice and sensational dance performance that left the audience spell bound and stuck to their seats till the end.

A dynamic blooming dancer, Himanshi Singhvi, enthralled the audience with her moves.

Special attraction of the event was a dance performance judged by Ganesh Acharya. He performed a dance for the song of his upcoming movie ‘Bhikaari’ on the stage with all the children. Memorable moments of the evening included dancing sensation Ganesh Acharyaji performing with Roselynn and Royce Poul.

Many students took part in this completion in different categories. Ganesh Acharya in his comments said that he was overwhelmed to see such talented dancers on the stage. He said the event was not less than any reality dance show. He promised to soon open a dance school in Kuwait so that Kuwait talent can be showcased in Bollywood. He thanked James Paul for organizing such a wonderful show and also extended special thanks to Ashfaq Khan and Happy Singh for hospitality. He announced that he will be back soon to Kuwait with a show.
