Slaughter of pigs is not illegal.
Slaughter of buffaloes too is not illegal, but should be done in legalized/authorized slaughter houses.
As of now, slaughter of cows is illegal. Some enlightened souls who will lead the nation will legalize that for sure.
Frankly speaking, I feel slaughtering of pigs, chicken and sheep too should be done in legalized slaughterhouses. Earlier times, you had acres of land inside your compound. You could take the waste aster butchering to a corner and dispose. Since the immediate neighbours were miles away, there were no issues. Now we have small compounds and neighbours on all the sides, for hygiene and health issues, i suggested the above.
    You may refute.
