Bengaluru, Dec 30: There is a possibility that Rahul Gandhi, president of All India Congress Committee (AICC), will arrive in the state on a three-day visit. Already the state leaders have been notified of the same and he is supposed to have discussions with women representatives and office bearers on January 20 at Belagavi.
Rahul is also expected to attend the conference of scheduled tribe community on January 21 at Bellary and have a conversation with farmers and students on January 22. As this is the first visit to the state of Rahul Gandhi after assuming the role of president of AICC, state leaders are busy getting ready for the occasion.
There is also a possibility that Rahul Gandhi will blow the inaugural trumpet for the proceedings of the upcoming assembly elections.
Rahul was supposed to arrive in the state on November 19 for the centenary birthday celebration of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and also the fishermen conference.
However, he had to cancel his visit on account of Gujarat election campaign and his elevation to the post of president of AICC.
