Mangaluru: Body of 17-year-old girl student found in Gurpur river

Mangaluru, Jan 6: A girl student was found dead in Gurpur river here on the morning of Saturday, January 6.

The deceased has been identified as Tanushree, a resident of Ulaibettu.

Police suspect that Tanushree might have committed suicide. 

Kankanady rural police visited the spot and retrieved the body.

The body has been sent for post-mortem.

Tanushree was the daughter of the late Suraj and Shashikala, and a first PU student of Rosa Mystica College.

Kankanady rural police have registered a case and investigations are on.

    Feel sorry for the young girl just 17 years.The parents should show children warmth care and communicate with them .Tell them that problems will always be there in life.We have to teach them skills to solve problems.When a child comes and admits a mistake or failure, parents should appreciate the fact that he/she was honest.
