Mangaluru: Young Ankush Nayak enchants Mumbai with classical sitar recital

Mangaluru, Jan 15: Young talent of Mangaluru Ankush N Nayak mesmerised the audience gathered at Sri Shanmukhananda Padmanabhan Ranga Music Hall, Mumbai recently with an enchanting classical sitar recital.

The musical event was organized by Sri Shanmukhananda Fine Arts and Sangeet Sabha.

Ankush captivated the music lovers by presenting Raga Shree, Desh and Shivaranjani Ragas.

Jayesh Rege of Mumbai accompanied him on tabla.

The concert was a part of 'Sur Sagar' monthly concert series featuring rising star talents of the country.

Ankush Nayak is the son of Prof Narendra Nayak and Usha Nayak of Expert Educational and Charitable Foundation.
