Mangalore: Suspended ASI Finds Tragic Death at Manipal Hospital

Mangalore, Jul 27: Barke police station assistant sub-inspector Ajitkumar (56), who was recently suspended for misbehaving with a lady, died owing to low blood pressure at KMC Hospital located in Manipal on Saturday, July 26.

He was a bachelor and is survived by his mother and brothers. He was admitted to the hospital owing to fluctuation in blood pressure.

Some youths were troubling a lady at KSRTC bus stand while Ajitkumar was on duty there. Ajitkumar saved that lady, but misbehaved with her later in the police out post located at KSRTC bus stand.

Higher officials suspended him for this reason and he was sent to jail for a day. He was reportedly depressed after his release from the jail. Sources opined that  Ajitkumar found a tragic end to his life owing to excessive consumption of alcohol.
