Bahrain: Volkswagon 'Golden Pin' Award to Felix Miranda

Manama,Aug 4: Volkswagen Middle East recently presented the ‘Golden Pin’ award to their partner employee Felix Miranda, the Brand Manager of Volkswagen Centre Bahrain for the exceptional achievements over the last few years.  


The ‘Golden Pin’ award recognizes individuals for outstanding performance around a set of criteria which includes degree of service provided, loyalty, franchise standards, sales volume and turnover, organization of work, the use of specialist knowledge, standard and quality of work, analysis, target-setting, cost control and cost reduction.  Every year award recipients from the Middle East region are selected by Volkswagen AG in Germany.  


“For Volkswagen Middle East this is a great way of recognizing and rewarding the exceptional achievers within our regional partner network.  Only 50 such awards are presented each year, and the winners are selected from thousands of employees around the world, so they should be very proud of their accomplishment,” explained Hans-Dieter Keller, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East.




The Award was presented recently at the Volkswagen showroom in Bahrain in a crisp ceremony during the launch of their new model, an all new compact VW SUV Tiguan, and presented by Fathy A-Fadl Allam, Regional Sales Manager of Volkswagen Middle East.     The Management of Behbehani Brothers WLL, Bahrain, were also present on the occasion.      For Miranda it was an auspicious moment and award to treasure.

Felix Miranda has been a veteran on the island for 22 years in different capacities of Trading and Motors division of Behbehani Bros. Bahrain, rising to meteoric heights.     He is also an active Toastmaster member of the Karnataka Club Toastmasters and a member of various other Clubs on the island.   He states that his stint in Toastmasters has helped him mould himself as a better salesman and  in his various communication capacities..    His family comprises of wife Gretta, and two children, Ryan and Rheana who are also residents of Bahrain.
