Bengaluru: MLA Haris talks with doctors attending to Vidwath tormented by son

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Mar 1: N A Haris, who represents Shanthinagar constituency in the city in the state assembly, visited Mallya Hospital here on Wednesday February 28. It is learnt that he met the doctors treating Vidwath, who was brutally attacked by his son, Mohammed Nalapad and his associates, and discussed with them about the current health status of Vidwath.

MLA's son and his six friends are in judicial custody in connection with the attack on Vidwath in a pub in the city on the night of February 17.

When Haris came out of the hospital, some reporters wanted to know about the current health condition of Vidwath, but the MLA curtly told them, "I am fine". When the media persons clarified that they were seeking the condition of Vidwath, the MLA silently went to his car and went away.

It may be recalled that the advocates representing Nalapad, in support of bail application for their client, have been vehemently arguing that Vidwath's health condition has improved 90 percent, whereas the special public prosecutor has been saying otherwise. The court is expected to pass orders over the bail petition on March 2. The MLA's visit to the hospital gains significance in this backdrop.

The media was not allowed inside the hospital during the visit of Haris and his interaction with the doctors. It is not known whether he also met Vidwath or people close to him during this visit.

The other dignitary to visit the hospital on Wednesday was Chamarajpet MLA, Zameer Ahmed. The hospital authorities including Dr Anand who is handling Vidwath's case, could not be contacted.

Here the acused is not only trying to influence & intimidate doctors but has also brought along a dallal like Zameer to mediate and pressurize the victim. What wud be the fate of common people like us from police station to courts with no support nor influence.

How shamelessly the father is roaming around. If he had an inch of self respect, he would have shut himself within his house and slippered his son before that. But after all he is shameless. All this voice against him and his son's action seems to have no effect on him or the Government - which is still keeping rowdy elements in its team.

This is a Law of Nature punishment ( what you seed you will reap )which is invisible to blind people as he gone thru the trauma after the incident took place he only knew which is beyond the explanation and he is repenting it now silently. Parenting a child is most important rather teach them arrogance and attitude with ego.

    Jai ho Harris !!

MLA Harris would have gone to the hospital to apply pressure on the doctors. He wouldn't have visited the hospital with the intention of checking the health condition of Vidwath. I would be highly disappointed if Mohd. Nalapad gets bail in this case. There should be some rules, laws and principles to govern this state and if the government comes to the offender's rescue, it would be a travesty of justice. All the good work done by Siddaramaih would be reduced to nought. I hope he sees the anguish and pain of the person lying in the hospital and resists the temptation of helping Harris.

Hospital authorities should not allow the kinds of Harris and Zameer Ahmed into their premises.
