Chicago, Aug 12: Remo is truly an international artist well-known in music world, who has performed around the world and has won several international awards.  In 2006 the president of India conferred on him the "Padmashri" award.  The present Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh personally took him to Brazil in the year 2007 to perform to the parliament members and other dignitaries and also invited him to perform in New York and London. 

Remo composed music and sang for Bollywood movies……"hama hama hama"…"O' Meri Muni"…. He has performed with international artist, the likes of George Harrison of Beatles, Jethro Tull and others.  He is the only Indian pop artist to have Platinum and Double Platinum. He is also the highest selling rock musician and only one to be awarded Gold Discs in this category.  Come and watch Remo and Microwaves Papadums live!
